Site Design & Development 2010
I was contacted on behalf of the client to design and develop a new website for a local clinic specializing in fall prevention. The existing website was difficult to update, had unclear navigation, and wasn't as user-friendly as the client would have liked. I designed a clean, clear layout and architecture, based on the Wordpress CMS to allow for easy updates by any member of the organization. The website is still in progress and is not yet live.
The Site
For more background, the Falls Prevention Clinic is a collaboration between the Centre for Hip Health and Mobility, the University of British Columbia, and the Vancouver Coastal Health Research Institute. There are three locations: St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver, Vancouver General Hospital in Vancouver, and Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver. They specialize in preventative care by focusing on research and practice, and regular mobility.
